Somewhat archaic
Easy to follow and complete, but disappointingly stereotypical and heteronormative in how genders and sexuality are discussed. Overall, gets the main points across well, but it needs some tweaking to get with the times. We rolled are eyes so hard at the idea that you couldn't have close mixed-gender relationships.

Good Information
My fianc and I went through some couples counseling about a year and a half ago (great information and helped us build a stronger relationship). Now that we are engaged, we decided to complete Dr. Johnson's program in order to expedite receiving our marriage license. I personally think that the information is useful, however face to face counseling is more effective, in my opinion. I think every couple should have to attend premarital programs like this one, if they are unable to afford an in person counseling.

My fianc and I have very busy schedules, so it was so nice to be able to complete our pre-marital counseling at our convenience, in the comfort of our own home. Dr. Johnsons course was great because it really opened our lines of communication and enabled us to talk about things we had not discussed previously. I also like the fact that the videos within the course were relatable and great conversation starters for us. I also appreciate the links that were provided to help with savings and financial planning, as well as the quizzes to determine our love languages.

Great way to prepare for marriage!
My fiance and I entered Dr. Johnson's premarital course with little to no expectation of marriage. In a personal yet professional way, she has used her expertise to engage us in conversation in all the aspects of marriage. We feel a better sense of what's to come in marriage thanks to Dr. Johnson.
